If you have an Amazon Prime membership, the first batch of September's free PC games stops being claimable on October 7, and more follow on October 14, 21 and 28. What used to be called Prime Gaming is now Free Games with Prime on Amazon Luna, and the claim page lives at luna.amazon.com/claims. The deadlines come from GameRant, because Amazon's own posts list only the day each game arrived. According to GameRant, a game you claim in time is yours to keep.

What you can still claim
Amazon's September content update, published on September 10, lists 11 PC games for Prime members, although its own text says nine. The games are War Hospital, Just Die Already, Drop Duchy, DOOM and DOOM II, Botany Manor, DOOM Eternal, RiMS Racing, Wall World 2, Hue, The Da Vinci Cryptex and High on Life. Amazon labels each with where you redeem it: Epic Games Store, GOG code, Microsoft code, Legacy Games code or the Amazon Games app.
Three more titles appear on GameRant's list: Weakless and Zoria: Age of Shattering (GOG) and Havendock (Amazon Games app). Havendock is not new: Amazon's August update lists it as arriving on August 27. GameRant gives it an October 28 end date, which would be 62 days after arrival, while every September title in its list lasts 34 days. Treat the Havendock date as unconfirmed.
Deadlines by date
The dates below are GameRant's, last updated October 2. GameRant gives no time of day or time zone, so claim a day early. Each September arrival date from Amazon's post, a Thursday, matches an end date 34 days later on a Wednesday, which supports the pattern even though Amazon does not publish end dates.
- War Hospital and Just Die Already (Epic Games Store).
- DOOM + DOOM II (GOG code), Botany Manor and Drop Duchy (Epic Games Store).
- DOOM Eternal (Microsoft code), RiMS Racing (Epic Games Store), Wall World 2 (Amazon Games app).
- High on Life and Hue (Epic Games Store), The Da Vinci Cryptex (Legacy Games code), Weakless and Zoria: Age of Shattering (GOG), Havendock (Amazon Games app, date unconfirmed).

Unconfirmed rumour
Amazon has not published end dates or an October lineup. Every deadline above comes from GameRant, and the time of day is unknown, so check luna.amazon.com/claims before the day arrives.
How claiming works
Free Games with Prime does not hand you a download. You sign in at luna.amazon.com/claims and claim the game. For GOG, Legacy Games and Microsoft titles you receive a code to redeem on that store, and Epic titles appear in your linked Epic library. The Amazon Games app covers the rest. Each launcher needs its own account, so do this on a desktop rather than a phone. Redeem codes only on the official store, and see our guide on redeeming game codes safely. For the Epic side, our Epic claim walkthrough covers account linking.
Claim the Epic and GOG titles first, since those need linked accounts. A game not claimed by its end date cannot be added afterwards.
Where cloud streaming fits in
The claim-and-keep PC games are separate from Luna's streaming catalogue. Prime members can play Luna Standard games over the cloud, and those rotate in and out. According to Amazon, Star Wars Outlaws and Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora joined Luna Standard on September 10, and Amazon described King of Tokyo and It's Quiz Time: Guinness World Records as new GameNight titles. Bowling Mayhem has been free for Prime members since September 22. Space Metal Mania, a shoot-em-up with Megadeth's Dave Mustaine on the soundtrack, arrived on September 24 as a Luna exclusive with up to four-player co-op.
Luna also reached Prime Video on Fire TVs in the US and UK on July 23, with a Games tab. Prime members need no extra subscription for it, according to Amazon.
What to do this week
Open luna.amazon.com/claims, link any launcher accounts you are missing, and claim War Hospital and Just Die Already before October 7. The deadline for DOOM and DOOM II, Botany Manor and Drop Duchy is a week later, and DOOM Eternal, RiMS Racing and Wall World 2 follow on October 21. If you are short on time, prioritise the games you would actually install, because a claim only costs a minute but each store account must be linked before you can use the code or library entry. Amazon posted September's list on September 10 and August's on August 13, so October's may land around the same point, but Amazon has not announced it.
Frequently asked questions
Do I keep Prime Gaming games if I cancel Prime?
According to GameRant, games claimed as claim-and-keep titles stay in your library. Luna streaming titles do not, because they are a rotating catalogue.
Is Prime Gaming the same as Amazon Luna?
Prime Gaming's free games now live on Amazon Luna as Free Games with Prime. Claimed PC games are separate from Luna's rotating streaming titles.
Which launchers do I need?
Amazon's September list uses the Epic Games Store, GOG, a Microsoft code, Legacy Games and the Amazon Games app, so you may need accounts on several of them.
When does Amazon announce the next month's games?
Amazon's Luna content posts went up on August 13 and September 10, so October's may appear around the middle of the month. It had not been published as of October 3.
