PUBG MOBILE version 4.6 adds Midnight Hunters, a vampire-themed mode, and starts Season 32. The publisher's press release places the update in a window from September 8 to November 10, 2026, and the App Store listing shows version 4.6.0 released on September 9. The Ranked Arena run in this update ends on October 29, and most of the other dates in the release are start dates only. The game's own version 4.6 update announcement went up on pubgmobile.com on September 7.

What Midnight Hunters is

In Midnight Hunters, hunters fight vampires across remapped areas, which the App Store notes say are four urban areas turned into vampire territory. Players visit Vampire Hunter Guild locations for combat encounters, and those encounters carry clues about a character called Nightkeeper. The mode adds PvE enemies, including elite enemies with shields, along with new traversal and support gear.

The release also describes a Hunter Shooting Range, where higher scores earn better rewards. The official press release does not give the scoring thresholds, so the rewards tied to the range are unconfirmed beyond that statement.

Challenges, crates and the bloodline return

The press release names three reward routes. Golden Bat encounters are fights where defeating the bat earns a bounty. Scream Crates are puzzles, and a failed attempt alerts nearby enemies to your position. Guild Missions round out the list, though the release gives no details of how they are structured.

Bloodline Awakening is a separate feature in the same update. Eliminated players can return as vampires with four abilities. The release says this feature runs on Friday through Sunday in September, so it has already passed for most readers. The App Store notes describe a limited-time Faction Showdown with the same return idea, which suggests the two names refer to one feature, but the official pages do not state that outright.

Season 32 and Ranked Arena

Season 32 began on September 12. According to the release, it refreshes the tier rewards, adds new Path of Glory rewards and an upgraded Promotion Match, brings back Ultimate Royale and starts a Casual Match season across Unranked Classic, Arena, WOW, Home and Arcade. A Crazy Chicken Day event offers Ranked team-up perks and weekly prize draws, but the release gives no date for it.

Ranked Arena runs from October 1 to October 29 across three ranked modes: Team Deathmatch at Warehouse and Hangar, Assault at The Ruins, and Domination at Town. Tiered rewards are available throughout the run. Players in the top 1,000 in each region receive a limited Title when the season ends on October 29.

Other events on Erangel and Home

Ocean Odyssey returns exclusively on Erangel from September 30. A giant serpent event runs on the same map, and weakened sections of its stone shell hide scales and supply rewards. The release does not give an end date for the Erangel event.

Feast of Shadows is a Home Mode event that started on September 13. Players can take the seeker role and hunt specters for search points, or play as specters, hiding and scaring hunters for fright points. Points can be exchanged for rewards. No end date appears in the release.

A B.Duck collaboration starts on October 2 according to the release. The release names the date only, so anything beyond that is unconfirmed here.

What the release leaves open

Several details decide whether a player can plan around this update, and the publisher has not supplied them in the material reviewed for this guide. Midnight Hunters has no stated end date. Feast of Shadows has none either. The Style Voting cash prize draw is limited to "eligible players", and the release does not define eligibility. The release also gives no times for any date, and its publication time is shown under a London dateline, so time zones for every date should be checked in the game before acting on them.

For the One-Punch Man collaboration that also runs in this update, read the PUBG Mobile One-Punch Man guide. For the game itself, see the PUBG Mobile rewards page.
