Clink, Clank, Pinball Knight! is the pinball event attached to Zenless Zone Zero Version 3.2. It opened on September 10, 2026 at 10:00 server time and closes on October 19, 2026 at 03:59 server time. This page covers who can join, how the four stages unlock, what the event hands out, and what comes next with Version 3.3.
Who can join and how it unlocks
The event details page asks for two things. Your Proxy must reach Inter-Knot Level 20, and you must finish Main Story Chapter 1 - Intermission. The Version 3.2 announcement lists the same event window. Players who are behind on the main story should finish the chapter first, because the event does not open until the requirements are met.
HoYoverse's event post recommends finishing Main Story Season 3, Chapter 2, "The Long Goodbye," before you start. That is advice rather than a hard requirement, but it helps with the story beats the event builds on.
Inside the event, four themed Mission Mode stages open one after another. Clearing each Mission Mode stage unlocks its matching Challenge Mode stage. The event follows the pinball research of Kahkiboo at Chic Bootique. Work through the Mission Mode stages in order, since the Challenge Mode for each one only opens after its partner is cleared.
What the event gives you
The official event page lists exclusive Proxy accessories as the headline reward. The event also hands out a Hamster Cage Pass, Polychromes, and several upgrade materials. Polychromes are the premium currency used in the game's store and on certain banners, so they are the reward most players will want to check first. Accessories are cosmetic, so their value depends on whether you want to customize your Proxies.
Because the event ends at a fixed server time, claim what you need before the deadline. Server time is not the same as your local clock, and the official post does not name a UTC offset for it. If you live far from the server, convert the end time with care, or check the in-game event countdown, which uses the server time directly.
Version 3.3 and what comes next
The Version 3.3 Special Program, titled Journey to the Sky, began on October 9, 2026 at 19:30 UTC+8. That is 11:30 UTC, 04:30 Pacific time, and 13:30 in Central European time, so the program has already aired. The program introduces Phoenix and Severian as the two new Agents of the update. Codes are a separate topic, and how to redeem game codes safely covers how to check them.
HoYoverse's follow-up post says Severian's outfit Solemnly Impeccable will be available for purchase in the Store after the Version 3.3 update. That is a store item, not a free reward.
Outlets report that Version 3.3 begins on October 21, 2026. That date is not yet confirmed by an official notice, so treat it as expected until HoYoverse publishes its own date. If the date holds, the Pinball Knight event will have closed two days before the next version starts, which leaves little overlap for players who are still working through the Challenge Mode stages.
Playing it well
Finish the Mission Mode stages first, then go back to the Challenge Mode versions once you know how each stage works. The event window is 39 days from September 10 to October 19, so starting early leaves more room for the Challenge Modes. Check the in-game rewards list early to see which items you are missing before you decide how much time to put in.
