8 Ball Pool's Moonlight Album is approaching its final week, but the album and token shop do not close on the same day. The official season announcement says the Día de los Muertos season and album run through November 4, while the Moonlight Shop remains open until November 11.
The final season adds themed cues and cosmetics. Some highlighted items are tied to paid pass tiers, so check an item's track before assuming it is included with free play. The publisher gives dates rather than exact closing times for these windows.
Moonlight Album: collect cards before November 4
Open Card Boxes to add cards to the Moonlight Album. The album guide from 8 Ball Pool says collecting cards unlocks rewards including cue pieces for the Moonlight Album Animated Cue. Filling every page is the stated route to maxing that cue and claiming an additional animated frame.
The album notice lists September 30 to November 4 as the event window. A line elsewhere on that page displays a conflicting October start date, so the dated range shown in the season announcement and the main album description is the safer reference. The closing date is November 4 in both notices.
Players who have not updated their mobile game should check their app version. The album announcement specifies version 56.30.0 or above for the full event experience. It does not say every player can complete the collection in a fixed number of matches or boxes.
Moonlight Tokens and the shop
The publisher lists Pool Pass lanes, Daily Missions, time-limited events and Victory Boxes as sources of Moonlight Tokens during the album period. You can exchange tokens for rewards in the Moonlight Shop, including Card Boxes. The season notice says those Card Boxes are available until November 4.
The shop itself is scheduled to close November 11. That extra week is useful for spending remaining tokens, but it should not be read as an extra week to fill the album with newly purchased boxes. Check the current inventory and any item-specific deadline in game before exchanging tokens.
The announcement also lists returning and animated Moonlight Crest Avatars in the shop. Token prices and the full current inventory are not supplied in the written notice. Look at the shop screen for the cost before deciding between a box and a cosmetic.
What the final season adds
Día de los Muertos season runs October 28 to November 4. The official post highlights cues, avatars, frames, emotes and stickers. It specifically labels the Calavera Frame as a rank 34 Premium reward and the Día de los Muertos Animated Frame as an Elite Pool Pass exclusive.
Those labels matter: neither frame should be described as an automatic free login reward. Other items may have different requirements. Open the relevant pass or event page to see its track, current price and progress before purchasing anything.
