Apex Legends' Blood Pact event runs from October 13 to November 3, 2026, according to EA's event post, which is dated October 8. Players pledge to one of two factions, Beasts or Demons, and earn temporary abilities by completing a challenge each round of Wildcard. The rewards inside matches are free. The skins and bundles EA lists are paid, and the post gives no prices.

EA's post gives the event window as a single sentence: "The Blood Pact Event runs from October 13 to November 3." It gives no start or end time and no timezone, so use the in-game event screen for the exact moment the event switches on in your region.

How the factions work

Players pledge to Beasts or Demons. In each round of Wildcard, the faction gives a challenge: deal enough damage or land enough knocks to earn a faction Wild Card. The post says the card "is yours" once the challenge is met, and it describes no separate claim step. The only earnable rewards in the event come from these matches, not from a store or a timer.

The challenge is set each round, so a squad that misses one round can still pick up the next. EA's article does not say whether the abilities last only for a match or carry over to later games, so treat that as open until EA clarifies it.

The abilities

Beasts get Evasive Maneuvers, which gives faster movement and a Double Jump while weapons are stowed. Fast Draw speeds up reloads and shield cell use. Critical Roll gives temporary critical hits on reload.

Demons get Speedy Charge, which speeds up Tactical and Ultimate charge. Shields Up grants Epic Level shields. Super Cells lets cells regenerate all shield health.

The two sides offer different kinds of help. The Beast set is mostly about movement and reloading, and the Demon set is mostly about charging abilities and shields. EA does not rank them, so the choice comes down to how a squad already plays.

What costs money

The paid side is larger than the free side. EA's list includes the Sparrow Legend skin and character select animation, the Alter Legend skin, an R-99 weapon skin, and Beast and Demon Legend retheme bundles. Store offers cover Alter, Octane, Fuse, Sparrow, Conduit and Revenant, along with Apex packs.

EA's article shows no prices, and it marks one item with a note that some products are "not available in all territories" without tying the note to a specific item. Check the store in your region before buying, and check the price in your own currency, since digital sales in some territories include VAT or GST.

The event is listed for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC through the EA app, Epic and Steam.

Where the season stands

The event sits inside the Marked midseason. EA published the Marked midseason patch notes on September 14, 2026, and Split 2 started on September 15, so the event opens four weeks into the split. The notes list the Mixtape rotation from September 15 to November 3, 2026, which matches the end of the event.

The ranked ladders also run on a schedule. Ladder 4 runs from October 13 to 18, and Ladder 5 from October 20 to 25. EA gives these as dates without times or a timezone, so the same caution applies. Anyone who plays ranked during the event should check the in-game schedule for the times that apply to them.

For other free items this month, see the free DLC and in-game items guide. That page is separate from this event, and its dates do not carry over here.
