AT A GLANCE
- Who composed it? Justice, the French duo behind an adaptive score that responds to play.
- Listen now Pusher featuring Gesaffelstein is the new single, announced October 29.
- Album release December 11, 2026 on streaming services, CD and vinyl.
- Score or radio? This is music composed for the game. The radio stations have their own lineup.
Justice composed the original score for Grand Theft Auto VI, Rockstar announced on October 29. The French duo's music adapts to the way players move through Jason and Lucia's story. A new single, Pusher featuring Gesaffelstein, is out ahead of the score album's December 11 release.
GTA 6 has music written for the game, radio broadcasts, and albums you can listen to outside it. Those releases do not all contain the same material. Buying a physical album is separate from buying or playing GTA 6.
What Justice is making for GTA 6
The Rockstar announcement names Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay as the composers. Rockstar describes an adaptive score whose compositions change with how players engage with Vice City and Leonida. That tells us the music responds to play, although the announcement does not explain the triggers or publish a breakdown of individual mission cues.
A radio station gives listeners a selection of broadcasts. An adaptive score can accompany the story and the player's activity. Rockstar has not said that every track on the retail album will play in full, unchanged, during a particular mission. An album listening experience should not be treated as a map of the game's mission order.
Rockstar's official announcement introduces the new single and its collaborator:
Pusher and the earlier trailer song
Pusher features Gesaffelstein and debuts on October 29, according to Rockstar. The publisher links directly to the single's listening page, where listeners can choose a music service. Availability and any subscription requirements depend on the service they select.
That release page also links to the track on Justice's official YouTube channel:
The score album also includes Flower in a Hurricane, featuring Tame Impala, SZA, and King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard. Rockstar identifies it as the song heard in the GTA 6 launch trailer. The two named tracks give the announcement concrete listening options without revealing the full album sequence.
Rockstar previously shared the trailer song through its own account. This is the earlier single, rather than a second announcement of Pusher:
The announcement names these songs but does not provide a complete track-by-track list. Claims assigning all the remaining tracks to characters, locations or missions go beyond what Rockstar has described. The same applies to predictions about which song will play during the ending.
Album formats and the December release
The original score album is scheduled for December 11 on major streaming services, CD and vinyl. Rockstar says it contains 30 tracks and additional digital bonus tracks across the formats. A limited Triple Crystal Clear vinyl edition is among the physical options it advertises.
The official release landing page links to music services and physical pre-orders. Check the edition, delivery country and total cost on the retailer's own checkout page. A pre-save link and a physical pre-order are different actions, and neither provides a copy of the game.
December 11 is the album date. It should not be substituted for the game's release date in a calendar or described as a new delay. This announcement concerns the score and its standalone release; it does not announce a change to the game's launch plans.
Rockstar does not list any in-game unlocks for buying the album, or say that a particular physical edition is needed to hear the score while playing. Choose a format for how you want to listen or collect it. The limited vinyl description concerns that record edition, rather than an exclusive gameplay feature.
How the score fits alongside the radio stations
Players interested in station hosts and genres can use our GTA 6 radio guide. It covers a different part of Rockstar's music reveal. The original score announcement also points listeners toward the game's music section for station previews and featured singles.
The named singles are available ahead of the album. Use the official release page to check the physical editions or pick a streaming service. A song appearing on an album or in a trailer does not by itself establish which station carries it in the game.
