MONOPOLY GO Monster Mash Season: Every New Feature

Monster Mash is the current season in MONOPOLY GO, and it started on September 23, 2026. Scopely's announcement describes it as a full-season Halloween celebration with new minigames, a candy hunt, community-designed content and two guest collaborations, KPop Demon Hunters and Ghostbusters. The studio has not published an end date in its announcement, so this guide sticks to what the season contains and leaves the schedule open. The new ways to play

Scopely's post names three features that did not exist before this season. They are the parts worth learning first, because they decide where your dice and stickers go.

Luck-O-Lantern is a season-long candy hunt. Every sticker pack you open gives a chance to find candy, and you can also pick it up in minigames, leagues and on the Color Wheel. Candy goes into the Luck-O-Lantern, and when the pumpkin is full you collect a reward and a friend gets one too.

Trick or Treat sends you from house to house across the board. At each door you collect a reward and face a friend in a Dice Duel for the chance to claim the treat. A hidden ghost can ruin a door, so the choice of door matters.

Franken Paths is a new team minigame built around one decision, keep or send. On each spin you either keep your progress or send it to a teammate, and the team works toward a shared grand prize. If you play with friends, how you split the choices is the whole game.

Racers get a second way to win

Tycoon Racers also changes this season. Finishing first on the Championship Leaderboard still pays, but a new rule called Hold the Lead rewards teams that take the front position and defend it. The post does not give numbers for the rewards, so treat it as an extra goal, not a replacement for racing well.

Made by the community

A large share of the season comes from players. Winning designs from the Community Workshop Contest become official tokens you can earn, and they will arrive through Community Deluxe Drops, which Scopely says to watch for. Costumes from the Community Gallery Set contest become collectible stickers. And the permanent Wishing Board, shaped by earlier community votes, arrives with this season and stays in the game afterwards.

Returning favourites and the album

Bonus Sets are back, with three of them spread across the season. They give extra sticker goals and rewards, and Scopely stresses they are optional and do not count toward completing the main album. Scottie Patrol returns on the game's Discord with a mystery to solve: the community helps Mr. M get into the Mystery Mansion, studies clues, shares theories and votes on what is really going on. Rolling Tales then picks up the story inside the mansion across the community channels, and Scopely says players can help shape it and uncover rewards hidden along the way. Both are optional extras on the community side and do not change how the main season plays.

The main goal is still the Monster Mash album. It has 22 sticker sets. Complete it for the grand prize, plus a special token and extra rewards. The App Store listing shows the game is published by Scopely, which is the only publisher behind these events, so be wary of third-party pages that promise extra stickers or dice.

What to check before you plan

The announcement says Scopely will cover several features in a later dedicated post, so details such as reward sizes and exact rules may change once that goes up. The other point to keep in mind is timing. Because no end date is stated, check the in-game timers rather than assuming a date from a third-party page. Free dice and other rewards still arrive through the game's own links, which are not part of this season announcement.
