AT A GLANCE
- November lineup Dead Island 2, Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered and Monster Train 2.
- When to add them November 3-30, 2026. An active PlayStation Plus membership is required.
- PS4 players Dead Island 2 and Tomb Raider support PS4; Monster Train 2 is listed for PS5.
- Before the changeover October's three Monthly Games remain claimable through November 2.
PlayStation Plus members can add Dead Island 2, Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered and Monster Train 2 from November 3 through November 30. Sony's November lineup includes PS4 and PS5 versions of the first two games, while Monster Train 2 is listed for PS5.
October's Monthly Games have an earlier deadline: November 2. Adding a game to your library and downloading it are separate steps, so you can secure an eligible monthly game without making room for every installation immediately.
Check October before waiting for November
Sony's monthly lineup announcement gives November 2 as the last day to add F1 25, Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2. These are October's games; November's selection starts on the following day.
If you want either lineup, sign in with the PlayStation account that has the membership and check the Monthly Games section. Pay attention to the edition and entitlement shown on screen. A normal purchase button on a different edition is not the same as adding the included monthly version.
Sony supplies calendar dates in the announcement, without a worldwide switch-over hour. Check your regional store for availability instead of assuming every country changes at midnight in the same time zone. There is no need to buy a game early merely because another region's store has not changed yet.
Dead Island 2 and Tomb Raider work on PS4
Dead Island 2 is the action-heavy option. Sony describes its Los Angeles setting, melee combat and three-player online co-op, with the game also playable alone. Both PS4 and PS5 appear in the monthly announcement. The launch trailer illustrates the game; its original release date is separate from this November subscription offer.
Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered includes The Last Revelation, Chronicles and The Angel of Darkness. That makes it a collection of three adventures within one monthly selection. Sony lists PS4 and PS5 versions and highlights the option to switch between the original polygonal presentation and remastered graphics.
Returning players can switch back to the older look without changing games. The games and their presentation are the subject of this official launch trailer:
Monster Train 2 is the PS5-only selection
Monster Train 2 is a single-player deckbuilding roguelite. You recruit units and build card combinations while defending a train across three vertical levels. Sony's description names five new clans whose different strengths shape the strategies available during a run.
The November announcement lists only PS5 for this game. A PS4 owner should not assume that every game in the same monthly batch supports the older console. Check the platform shown beside each individual title before planning which one to download.
If you are choosing a first download, the genres offer a useful starting point: solo card strategy in Monster Train 2, older exploration adventures in Tomb Raider, or Dead Island 2's action and optional co-op. Sony's lineup does not rank the games or require playing them in a particular order.
These trailers show the underlying games. They do not establish that expansions, deluxe-edition extras or other store bundles are included in the monthly entitlement. Sony's list names the three games, so check any separately priced add-on before buying it.
How to add and play the monthly games
PlayStation's support instructions explain where to find Monthly Games. On PS5, open PlayStation Plus from the Games home screen, then go to Benefits and Monthly Games. On PS4, open PlayStation Plus from the function screen, select Monthly Games and add the chosen title to your library before downloading.
The benefit requires a PlayStation Plus membership. Sony describes these games as available to download and play at no extra cost during that membership. They should not be advertised as permanent, subscription-free purchases. Our monthly-games explainer covers the programme separately from this dated lineup.
You can also use a browser or the PlayStation App to arrange a remote download, following Sony's linked instructions. A remote download can save some of the evening you planned to spend playing. Check the account, available storage and supported console before starting it.
