Splatoon 3 Golden Egg Feast is a Salmon Run tournament on November 7, 2026, from 10:00 to noon PT (18:00-20:00 UTC). Registration closes at 09:30 PT (17:30 UTC), so joining when the matches begin is too late. Players enter through Tournament Manager in SplatNet 3, inside the Nintendo Switch App.
Check which rewards your account qualifies for before signing up. Nintendo advertises 50 My Nintendo Platinum Points for eligible participation, while physical prizes go to the highest-ranked eligible players. A gaming chair appears in the grand prize package; it is not a reward for everyone who completes a shift.
Register in the division your group will use
Nintendo's event announcement offers Solo, Pair, Trio and Team divisions. Choose Solo for one player, Pair for two, Trio for three or Team for four, then complete registration in Tournament Manager before the cutoff.
You need access to Splatoon 3, a Nintendo Switch system, a Nintendo Account, reliable internet and Nintendo Switch Online. The official rules accept a trial membership too. Check that the account used in the app matches the one you plan to play with, and allow time to resolve any membership or login problem before the tournament morning.
For players returning to Salmon Run, Nintendo's original Next Wave trailer introduces the mode. This is background gameplay footage from the game's reveal, not footage of the November tournament:
Check residence and age before chasing physical prizes
The official rules restrict tournament eligibility to legal residents of the 50 United States and Washington, D.C., Canada or Mexico who are also physically in those territories while participating. The minimum age is 13 in the US and Canada, and 18 in Mexico.
For younger entrants, the rules require a parent or guardian's involvement where applicable. Players may enter their region only once and cannot register for a different region. Read those conditions before inviting friends living elsewhere, since owning the game does not by itself establish eligibility for a physical prize.
Nintendo's article describes the 50 Platinum Points participation reward more broadly for eligible players in North and South America. That statement does not widen the physical-prize competition to every country on those continents. Keep the participation mission and the tournament's prize rules separate when checking what your account can receive.
Score across cleared shifts during the two-hour window
The tournament uses a Top Score format in Salmon Run, combining Golden Eggs from four shifts with scale points from one shift. You can play multiple shifts during the event. Cleared shifts count toward the total; a defeat carries a points penalty based on the wave in which the team fell.
Tournament Manager provides the stage, supplied weapons and King Salmonid within a week of the event. Check the actual lineup before choosing how to practice. A route or weapon assignment remembered from another Salmon Run rotation may not fit the tournament's equipment.
For a group session, make sure everyone knows where to find the tournament entry and when the cutoff falls in their own time zone. Test the app and voice arrangements beforehand if you use them. Signing in beforehand leaves the two-hour window free for matches.
Claim points and watch the correct inbox
Nintendo says the 50 participation points should be ready to claim on the My Nintendo Missions page on or about November 14, using Pacific Time. They are Platinum Points, not cash and not a Nintendo eShop discount balance. Participating on November 7 therefore does not mean the mission reward must appear immediately after the last shift.
Physical prizes cover three finishing tiers, with 30 winning players in total. Grand prize packages include the chair and trophy; the lower tiers have different merchandise packages. Potential winners are contacted through the email associated with their Nintendo Account, and the rules require a response within two days of notification.
Set a reminder to check that inbox as well as the Missions page. If you are managing several Nintendo campaigns, our reward deadline guide can help separate registration, participation and claim dates. For Golden Egg Feast, the first action is completing registration before 09:30 PT on November 7.
