Valorant Champions Shanghai Drops: Title and Spray Rules

Riot is handing out two free in-game rewards during Champions Shanghai 2026. Watch at least 30 minutes of the Groups and Playoffs for the Prepared title, and at least 30 minutes of the Grand Final for the Stamp of Approval spray. The Grand Final is on Sunday, October 18, so the spray is still ahead and the title can still be earned through the Playoffs.

Riot's Watch and Earn article, published September 23, 2026, describes the drops in one line: players "earn exclusive in-game rewards just by tuning into the live broadcast." The article gives no start or end time for the drops and no timezone, so the stage dates in this post are the boundaries Riot publishes rather than exact timestamps.

The match schedule

Riot's Champions Shanghai guide, published September 11, lists the Groups Stage from September 24 to October 4, with no matches on September 28 and on October 5 and 6. The Playoffs run from October 7 to October 18, with no matches from October 12 to 15. Playoffs Day 11 falls on Friday, October 16, the Lower Bracket Final on Saturday, October 17, and the Grand Final on Sunday, October 18.

The schedule gives dates only. It does not publish match times or a timezone, so check the event page for kickoff times in your own zone before you plan a viewing session.

The two drops

Prepared is a title. Riot's wording is "Watch for a minimum of 30 minutes during Groups and Playoffs." The article does not say whether those 30 minutes must come from one stage or can be added up across both. Readers who watched only part of the Groups should check Riot's page before assuming the earlier viewing counts.

Stamp of Approval is a spray that needs 30 minutes during the Grand Final. Since the Grand Final is the last match of the event, it is the only chance left for the spray, and the page does not say whether a replay or a clip counts. Plan to watch the live broadcast if you want it.

Both drops are described as watch-based, and the page says the drops apply "wherever you're watching from." The Pick'Ems rules, a separate system, list several excluded regions. The article does not say whether those limits apply to the watch drops, so readers in those areas should read the official rules before counting on them.

Shotcall and Pick'Ems

Shotcall is a separate set of rewards tied to Riot's official broadcast on Twitch, and the article limits it to desktop. The Catch, a title, needs 50 points over the event. Crab Buddy, a gun buddy, needs 300 points. The Trophy player card goes to players who finish in the top 3 percent of any map during the event.

Pick'Ems are closed for this event. Group Stage picks locked on September 24 and Playoffs picks locked on October 7, so neither can be entered now. The Pick'Ems rewards are not part of the watch drops, and this post does not treat them as a way to earn the title or the spray.

What to do before October 18

For the Prepared title, the simplest route is to watch Playoffs matches on the official broadcast until you reach 30 minutes. Playoffs matches continue until the Grand Final, so there is still time to log viewing. For the spray, the Grand Final on October 18 is the only qualifying match, and the same 30-minute rule applies.

For another watch-based campaign this month, see the Marvel Rivals Angela drops, which follows its own rules and dates.

Riot's article describes no claim step and no code. The rewards are tied to the broadcast itself. Anyone whose reward does not appear after the qualifying viewing should check Riot's official article again before assuming an error, because the article is the only official description of the rules this post relies on.
