TerraScape and Out of Sight are free to claim on the Epic Games Store from October 8 through October 15, 2026, at 15:00 UTC. The offer is for PC and requires an Epic account. Add each game to your library during the window and it remains there after the giveaway ends. TerraScape is a city-building puzzle game; Out of Sight is a horror adventure built around a distinctive second-person viewpoint.
Two games with very different moods
TerraScape asks players to place buildings and grow a settlement by finding useful combinations. Its Epic store listing describes a blend of city builder and puzzle game, with more than 50 buildings and over 30 combination buildings. There are scenario puzzles, weekly challenges, creative play, and cooperative or versus multiplayer. The game does not focus on combat or resource management, so it suits players who want a slower planning challenge.
Out of Sight takes a more tense approach. Its protagonist Sophie is blind and sees through her teddy bear, Teddy. Players alternate perspectives as they navigate a dangerous mansion, hide from threats, and solve puzzles. The store describes it as a single-player horror adventure. Together, the giveaway gives players a relaxed building game and a compact escape story, rather than two titles aimed at the same audience.
TerraScape's store page also lists Kingdom Mode with difficulty settings and more than 40 Puzzle Terras, while co-op Kingdom Mode supports up to four players. In Out of Sight, Teddy's perspective helps Sophie spot a way through the mansion.
How to claim the Epic giveaway
Open Epic's Free Games page or the individual store pages while signed in to your Epic account. Choose each game and complete the free checkout before the deadline. The offer applies to the PC listings. Epic's free-games page also notes mobile giveaways as a separate part of its programme, but these two titles are listed for Windows PC.
Claiming does not require finishing a download before the offer expires. The important step is adding the games to the account library while the giveaway price is zero. After that, they are yours to install later through the Epic Games launcher. Check that the order total is zero before completing, especially if you are using a regional store or looking at an add-on rather than the base game.
The standard Epic listings show regular prices of $16.99 for TerraScape and $14.99 for Out of Sight in the US storefront. Prices vary by region and can change. Claim each base game during the offer and it stays in your account.
The r/GameDeals thread for this giveaway also collects player comments on the two games and their usual store prices. Treat those comments as individual impressions; Epic's listings remain the source for claim dates and regional prices.
The TerraScape Epic listing describes its modes and US price. The Out of Sight listing identifies its genre, developer and Windows platform.
The giveaway ends next Thursday
Epic's promotion data places the changeover at 15:00 UTC on October 15. That is 17:00 CEST in Berlin while summer time remains in effect. The Epic page is the place to check if the offer's status or your regional price differs. The date is close enough that players who want either game should claim it before the week ends.
The store page currently identifies TerraScape as developed by Bitfall Studios, with Stray Fawn Publishing and Sidekick Publishing listed as publishers. Out of Sight is developed and published by The Gang and The Gang Sweden AB, respectively. These details help distinguish the games from similarly named projects when searching the store or adding the right title to the library.
Epic has not confirmed the next week's giveaway on the official Free Games page available for this check, so no follow-up titles are listed here. For a recurring overview of how Epic's free game claims work, see our Epic Games free games guide.
