Pokémon GO players worldwide can claim a code for the Pokémon Night Out avatar jersey by watching 30 minutes of the official Pokémon Twitch livestream on October 24, 2026. The stream starts at 7:30 p.m. PDT. You must claim the drop on Twitch, then reveal and redeem its code to receive the Timed Research. Watching the event on YouTube does not earn the Twitch Drop.
Pokémon GO’s Twitch Drop instructions explain how viewers worldwide can claim the code. Its October 19 event guide covers the bonuses for attendees at Intuit Dome in Los Angeles and The O2 in London.
How to claim the Twitch Drop
The reward is a code for a Pokémon GO Timed Research, which awards the exclusive Pokémon Night Out baseball jersey for your avatar. Follow these steps during the October 24 livestream:
- Follow the official Pokémon Twitch channel so you can find the broadcast and receive a stream notification.
- Connect your Pokémon Trainer Central account to Twitch using the steps in Pokémon's account-linking help page.
- Watch the live stream on Twitch for 30 minutes. Pokémon says minimizing the stream pauses the Twitch Drop progress timer.
- Claim the Drop from the prompt in Twitch chat or your Twitch Drops Inventory.
- Open your Twitch inventory, select the claimed Drop and choose Show Code.
- Redeem the displayed code through Pokémon's offer redemption page.
The account-linking and code steps are part of the reward flow. Watching without claiming the Drop leaves it in your Twitch inventory, and copying a code without redeeming it does not add research to Pokémon GO. The official instructions say the Timed Research code can only be claimed once.
Stream time for viewers outside Los Angeles
The official Twitch Drop page lists the stream for Saturday, October 24, starting at approximately 7:30 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time. That is 02:30 UTC on October 25, 03:30 in Berlin after the European clock change, and 02:30 in London. The US has not changed from daylight time yet, while Germany and the UK have moved back to standard time overnight.
The stream page does not give an end time. Join close to the start, keep the Twitch video open, and check your Drops progress before leaving. If you watch on a television app or another device, make sure you are signed into the same Twitch account that is linked to Pokémon Trainer Central. The official article does not confirm that YouTube viewing counts toward the Drop, so use Twitch for the required 30 minutes.
What concert attendees get in the game
Pokémon Night Out takes place at Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on October 24 and The O2 in London on November 10. The October 19 Pokémon GO announcement says Lure Modules, except Golden Lure Modules, last one hour during each event. Pikachu appears in one-star raids and Gengar in three-star raids. Pokémon caught from those raids can have a location background for the city you attend.
Trainers who open Pokémon GO at the venue can receive up to two Timed Research opportunities. Tasks can lead to Lowkey or Amped Form Toxtricity encounters and the same Night Out baseball jersey. The announcement says a player who already claimed the avatar-item research from the Los Angeles Twitch stream will not receive that research a second time at the venue. If you plan to attend, decide whether you want to claim the Twitch version before the show.
Some wild Pokémon also appear more often at the venue, including Gastly, Voltorb, Alolan Marowak, Hoothoot, Murkrow, Houndour, Electrike, Carvanha, Shinx, Zorua, Joltik, Froakie, Dedenne and Rookidee. Unown P, N and O may also appear. These are venue bonuses listed by Pokémon, separate from the global Twitch code.
