Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble Pre-Registration Rewards

Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble is open for pre-registration worldwide on iOS and Android. Each global milestone the game reaches unlocks rewards for every player, and the final milestone adds an exclusive Clank skin. Sony has not announced a global launch date, so pre-registering is the only step available for now.

How the milestone rewards work

Pre-registrations count toward global milestones. When the total reaches a milestone, every player unlocks that milestone's in-game rewards at launch, not only the people who signed up. PlayStation names three currencies in the rewards: Qredits, Reebos and Raritanium. The final milestone also unlocks the Clank Suit skin for Widget for every player.

Rewards are delivered to the in-game mailbox within 30 days of the global launch. PlayStation's July blog post says this applies to players who have finished the tutorial, so a pre-registrant who never starts the game will not collect them. The same post does not list the threshold for each milestone, so the current count and any tier list are the things to check on the official Ranger Rumble site before you plan around a specific reward. Those numbers are not published in the sources used here, and they can change as the count rises.

The structure is shared, not individual. A reward unlocked at a milestone goes to everyone who plays after launch, which means your sign-up helps the whole player base reach the next tier as well as your own rewards. Pre-registration does not require a purchase, and the sources used here do not describe any cost tied to signing up. The milestone wording is also the best guide to why sign-ups matter now: each tier that is reached before launch becomes a reward for the whole player base, so early sign-ups count toward the tiers that are still open.

What the game is

PlayStation describes Ranger Rumble as a mobile hero shooter, and its July blog post set out gameplay details alongside the opening of pre-registration. The game is aimed at the same player who follows the franchise on consoles, but it runs as a phone and tablet title, so the controls and session length will differ from a console Ratchet & Clank game. The official trailer shows the characters and combat, which is the quickest way to judge the game before signing up.

Where it has been tested

Push Square reported in July that the game had already run soft launches in Canada, the Nordics, France and parts of Asia before global pre-registration opened. A soft launch shows that a game is running in live markets, but it does not set the global date. PlayStation did not give one in its July announcement, and Push Square says the global launch is coming soon, without a day attached. Coverage since then that quotes a date usually traces back to a store listing rather than to Sony. Readers in the soft-launch regions have the clearest view of the game today, while everyone else is waiting on the same global announcement.

When could it launch?

No global launch date has been confirmed by Sony. Some reports have pointed to October 5, 2026, based on a date shown on the App Store listing. That date is not an announcement, and Sony has not confirmed it. Check the App Store or Google Play page for the live status before you plan a play session around it, because a listing date can move.
