A Twitch Drop reaches your account only if three things happen in order: you earn it by watching, you claim it on Twitch, and the game's developer delivers it. When a drop goes missing, find the step that failed before you rewatch any streams. This guide covers the steps and a fix list, and a dated section near the end covers the Marvel Rivals campaigns that are running as of October 3, 2026.

How a Twitch Drop reaches your account

Twitch's developer documentation describes the flow. Twitch tracks watch activity on participating channels streaming the game's category. When you meet the campaign's rule, you can claim the reward, and that claim tells the developer's systems to grant you the item. The grant happens off Twitch, in the game or on the developer's website, and the reward can be an in-game item or a redeemable code.

That split explains most support threads. If your progress bar never moved, the problem is on the earning side. If the bar is full but nothing shows in the game, the problem sits with delivery, and Twitch cannot fix it directly.

Twitch Developer Docs: DropsTwitch's own description of how drops work, written for game developers.

Open the Drops Inventory, find the campaign, and press Connect next to the game name. Twitch sends you to the developer's site to sign in and link the accounts. Check that the link shows on both sides before you watch anything. Twitch's campaign guide says viewers can claim a drop before linking, but the developer can only deliver it once the accounts are connected, so link early.

Earning and claiming

Watch-time drops need you to view a participating channel in the right category for a set time. Twitch's docs call 15 to 30 minutes typical for a standard reward and say most developers choose around 3 to 6 hours for a high-value one. Time only counts while the streamer is live, and you earn for one channel at a time. Some campaigns also have subscription drops that unlock an item when you subscribe.

When a reward reaches 100 percent, press Claim in the Drops Inventory. Rewards are either granted straight to the linked account or handed out as a code. For codes, see how to redeem game codes safely. Claim each reward as soon as it completes: Twitch's campaign guide says viewers can claim up to 14 days after a campaign ends.

When a drop does not show up

  1. Confirm the item shows as claimed in your Drops Inventory.
  2. Check that the game account linked on Twitch is the one you are logged into in the game.
  3. Look in the game's own delivery channel, such as in-game mail, or restart the game, since delivery can lag.
  4. Contact the game's support if Twitch shows the drop as claimed. Twitch's technical guide obliges developers to keep trying to deliver an item for up to 14 days after the campaign ends, so report the problem inside that window.

Live now (as of October 3): Marvel Rivals drops

The rest of this page is dated. Marvel Rivals runs two campaigns at once, and both are specific to this season.

The Season 10 patch notes list a round of drops that includes the Squirrel Girl "Will of Galacta" costume and related bundle content, available from September 11, 2026 at 12:00 UTC to October 9, 2026 at 09:00 UTC. That is 05:00 PT on the start day and 02:00 PT on the last day, and 10:00 in London on October 9. The game's official X account named a spray, a nameplate and an emote among the rewards.

Marvel Rivals' own Drops page has you log in to your game account, connect Twitch, then watch the Marvel Rivals category. It says eligible streams carry a DropsEnabled tag and show a pop-up in chat, and that progress appears in the Drops Inventory. Rewards arrive as an in-game email that expires after 30 days, and each Twitch account can claim a given reward once. If something still fails, the page's FAQ advises contacting Marvel Rivals Support on the game's official Discord.

A second set of drops belongs to the Marvel Rivals IGNITE Series Stage 2 esports broadcasts. They roll out in batches from the group stage, starting September 17 at 09:00 UTC, and the final batch for the Playoffs goes live on October 15 at 11:00 UTC. The patch notes name a Cyclops "Will of Galacta" costume among the rewards and say some drops can only be earned by watching matches during their specific week, so a missed week may not be recoverable. The notes give no end time for the last batch; the playoff schedule runs to October 16.
