Xbox's second October Game Pass update brings Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted on October 29, with The Séance of Blake Manor joining on October 27. The same announcement lists nine games leaving the catalog on October 31, including Deep Rock Galactic, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and Wartales. Football Manager 26 is scheduled to leave PC on November 10.
The Xbox Wire announcement separates these arrivals by date and membership tier. Some listed games are already available as of October 23, including Sandustry and Dodo Duckie. The additions on October 26 and later are still ahead, so check the catalog on the day each game is scheduled to arrive.
The headline arrival is Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade
Microsoft lists Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade for October 29 on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC. The Xbox Wire post includes it for Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium and PC Game Pass. The Xbox Store listing describes the game as covering the story through the escape from Midgar and includes the Yuffie episode, Episode INTERmission.
That makes the date useful for people who have waited to try the expanded edition through a subscription. The store page also lists a separate purchase option, so the Game Pass announcement describes catalog access rather than removing the ability to buy the game. Check the Xbox catalog in your region before installing, as catalog listings and platform availability can vary.
Plants vs. Zombies and The Séance arrive first
The Séance of Blake Manor is scheduled for October 27 on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Xbox lists Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass for the supernatural detective game, which takes place in an Irish hotel in 1897. The official Xbox trailer shows the premise, while the catalog post gives the membership and date details.
Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted follows on October 29 for Cloud, Console and PC. The Xbox announcement lists Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Electronic Arts describes the release as an HD remaster of the original lane-based garden defense game, with local co-op, local player-versus-player and extra challenge modes on its official product page.
Another October 29 arrival is Mouthwashing, which Microsoft lists for Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, handheld and PC under Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass. Terrible Lizards also arrives that day for Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Neither listing should be confused with an Xbox-only exclusive; these are catalog additions with the specific device support shown by Microsoft.
More games arrive before November
The wave continues with Scramble Knights Online on October 26, listed as a Game Preview release for Cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Microsoft says it arrives day one with Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Pit of Goblin follows on November 3 for Cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC, with Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass listed.
The announcement also includes earlier dates: Sandustry reached Game Pass Premium on October 21, and Dodo Duckie arrived October 22 for Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass. Those dates have passed, so players can check the service now rather than wait for a future unlock.
Nine catalog games leave on October 31
Microsoft's October 31 departures include:
- Day of the Tentacle Remastered
- Dead Static Drive
- Deep Rock Galactic
- Full Throttle Remastered
- Grim Fandango Remastered
- Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris
- Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
- Wartales
- Wildgate
The announcement says members can buy departing games at a discount before they leave, but it does not list a single price for each title. Check the store page for the current regional offer. Football Manager 26 and Football Manager 26 Console Edition have a separate November 10 departure date, so they are not part of the October 31 group.
The quickest dates to note are October 27 for The Séance of Blake Manor, October 29 for the two most prominent arrivals, and October 31 for the nine departures. If one of the leaving games is in your queue, check its current status in Game Pass and decide whether to finish it or buy it before the catalog change.
