Diablo II: Resurrected Ladder Season 16 starts on November 13 at 17:00 PST. If you have older items sitting in withdrawal-only stash tabs, the more urgent date is November 9. Those tabs change when Season 15 ends, several days before the next Ladder race begins.

Blizzard also has a separate November 16 cutoff for moving online Lord of Destruction characters into Reign of the Warlock. Deal with the stash before planning your opening Ladder session. By the time the new-season notification arrives, the older withdrawal tabs will already have been replaced.

Empty the older withdrawal tabs before November 9

The Season 16 announcement says Season 15 ends on November 9 at 11:00 PST, or 19:00 UTC / 20:00 CET. At that point, Season 15 characters move into their respective non-Ladder groups, and their shared-stash items move into a new withdrawal-only set of tabs.

Anything still in the Season 14 withdrawal-only tabs will be lost when the Season 15 tabs replace them. Move the items you want to retain into regular storage before that transition. Do not assume an item is safe simply because you can still see it in an old tab now.

Season 15 items receive the next withdrawal window, lasting through Season 16. The age of the tab matters. Open the marked past-season tabs for each character group you use, and check which season they belong to before leaving anything there.

For a returning player, clearing that older storage is a useful first session. You can sort equipment and make room before choosing a new Ladder character, without needing to commit to a build immediately.

Patch 3.4 arrives before the Ladder reset

The patch begins rolling out on November 9, while the new Ladder starts November 13 at 17:00 PST. Installing the update on patch day does not mean the new season has opened. Plan your group session around the reset time, and leave the earlier day for storage housekeeping.

The stated Pacific launch converts to November 14 at 01:00 UTC, 01:00 GMT in the UK and 02:00 CET in central Europe. Blizzard's regional table uses summer-time labels and gives an inconsistent central-European entry. These conversions use its stated 17:00 PST launch as the reference, with November's standard-time offsets.

Blizzard's notes list both regular and Hardcore Ladder variants, including the original four-act game and the five-act expansion version. Check which version and ruleset your friends intend to play before making characters. Make sure everyone is creating characters in the same partition.

Check the November 16 character conversion cutoff

From November 16, online Lord of Destruction characters can no longer convert to Reign of the Warlock. Blizzard applies this to both Ladder and non-Ladder online characters. Offline conversions remain available, as do Classic-to-Lord-of-Destruction conversions.

The expansion overview explains the separate Classic, expansion and Reign of the Warlock eras. Its original conversion guidance describes moving forward through those eras; the newer Season 16 notice changes the online expansion-to-Warlock route. Use the newer deadline when deciding what to do with an existing online character.

Reign of the Warlock introduces the Warlock class. This official gameplay trailer illustrates that expansion and class, rather than previewing the Season 16 reset:

The cinematic gives a different introduction to the same class. It is earlier expansion footage, not a promise of a new class arriving with this Ladder season:

Read item changes for your version

Patch 3.4 distinguishes items moving into online non-Ladder from item adjustments limited to online Ladder and offline play. The listed changes apply to Reign of the Warlock, with Classic and Lord of Destruction excluded from those item updates.

Before replacing gear or following a build recommendation, check the era and mode named beside the change. A buff described for Warlock-era Ladder should not become an expected upgrade for a Lord of Destruction non-Ladder character. Keep that version check alongside the stash cleanup, especially if you maintain characters in several partitions.

If you are comparing seasonal activities across Blizzard games, our Diablo Immortal Hallow's Phantom guide covers a separate game and event. Its rewards and schedule do not carry into Diablo II.
