Sorry We're Closed is the next scheduled free PC game on the Epic Games Store, with claims opening October 29 at 15:00 UTC and closing November 5 at 16:00 UTC. If you open its store page before the giveaway starts, you may still see a paid price. Wait for the promotion and check the checkout total before placing an order.
The Epic free-games listing is the place to follow the weekly changeover. Home and Sker Ritual are the current offers until October 29 at 15:00 UTC. Sorry We're Closed follows them, so there is still time to inspect the outgoing pair before deciding which games to add to your library.
Claim during the free window
Sign into the Epic account you want to keep the game on, open the base game's listing and check that it shows the free promotion. Continue through checkout and confirm the order. Adding a game to a wishlist is useful for reminders, but does not claim the weekly offer or place a licence in your library.
Check the exact edition as well. The game's store page lists additional editions and extras. A giveaway for the base game should not be read as a promise that every soundtrack, art book or bundle on the page is also free. If checkout shows a charge, stop and check the time and selected product.
Once the free order has completed, check your account's library or transaction history. You can download later; the important action during the promotion is completing the claim. Our Epic free-game claiming guide explains the account and checkout steps in more detail if this is your first weekly giveaway.
What kind of horror game is it?
The game follows Michelle after a demonic curse disrupts her life. Its exploration uses fixed camera angles, while combat switches to a first-person view. Watch the camera changes in the trailer before deciding whether they suit you, especially if you prefer one perspective throughout a game.
Michelle's Third Eye lets her see between worlds and identify things hidden from ordinary sight. The story also has dialogue choices and multiple endings. That gives the game a different rhythm from a multiplayer survival session: the store describes a single-player experience, with investigation and conversations alongside its fights.
The official Steam feature list includes optional tank controls and accessibility settings such as aim assist and remappable controls. Review those options if classic survival horror interests you but older control schemes tend to put you off. Availability on other stores or consoles does not make this Epic PC offer transferable to those platforms.
The publisher's launch trailer shows the camera changes and the game's visual style. It predates this Epic giveaway, so any release messaging in the clip refers to the game's original launch.
Why the start and end use different UTC times
The opening instant is October 29 at 15:00 UTC. The closing instant is November 5 at 16:00 UTC. The United States changes its clocks between those dates, so copying the opening UTC hour onto the closing date would give you the wrong cutoff.
Use the full timestamp for the deadline when setting a reminder, and allow time to sign in and complete checkout. The store may apply regional availability rules, so check the listing while signed into your own account. A screenshot from another country cannot guarantee that your account will see the same product or promotion.
Check your library before buying extras
After claiming the game, decide whether you want to install it now or keep it for another evening. The promotion does not require finishing the story before November 5. That date is the end of the free acquisition window, which is different from a trial that stops working after a weekend.
Check optional purchases separately. Look at what an edition actually includes, compare it with the base game you have claimed, and review the total before paying. You can also read our Epic Rewards explainer if a later paid purchase involves store credit. A zero-price claim does not need a store-credit purchase to unlock it.
