Xbox Game Pass's first November 2026 wave puts Escape Academy 2: Back 2 School on the November 5 schedule, followed by Warhammer Survivors on November 10 and Thronefall on November 11. The important detail is the plan beside each game: this announcement contains different lists for Ultimate, Premium, Essential and PC Game Pass.
There is also a November 15 departure list. Before filling the queue with new arrivals, check whether a game you are already playing is leaving. A new addition to one tier does not establish that every subscriber can install it on every device.
Match November 5's games with your plan
The official November wave announcement lists Escape Academy 2 for Ultimate and PC Game Pass on Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, handheld and PC. It describes day-one availability and online or local two-player co-op.
Firefighting Simulator: Ignite also arrives November 5, with Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass named. MySims Cozy Bundle's new console and cloud availability is listed for Ultimate and PC Game Pass. Read those tier differences before interpreting a general Game Pass headline as access through your current plan.
For puzzle players, Xbox's Escape Academy 2 guide describes a campus connecting the timed rooms, optional side puzzles and a hint system. It also confirms solo play alongside co-op. Decide whether you want to explore alone or arrange a session with a friend before starting the new campaign.
The official ID@Xbox announcement trailer introduces that game:
For subscription access, use the dated November list beside the trailer and check the plans and devices named for that game.
Premium additions include more than newly released games
Vampire Crawlers gained Premium availability on November 4, joining its Ultimate and PC Game Pass listing. Aphelion is another tier expansion, scheduled for Premium on November 17. The phrase new to a plan can therefore describe wider access to an existing game rather than a brand-new release.
Void/Breaker reached its 1.0 release and Xbox Series X|S and cloud availability on November 4, with Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass listed. These different kinds of addition are useful to separate when deciding whether you need another subscription or already have the game through your current one.
Later in the wave, Thronefall arrives November 11 for Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass. Xbox describes building a kingdom by day and defending it at night. Warhammer Survivors is listed for November 10 through Ultimate and PC Game Pass, while John Carpenter's Toxic Commando follows November 12 with Premium also included.
Essential gets its own November 15 list
Eight classics are named for the Essential library: Banjo-Kazooie, Banjo-Tooie, Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, Gears of War: Judgment, Halo: Spartan Assault, Perfect Dark, Viva Piñata and Viva Piñata: TIP. Xbox lists Cloud and Console for these entries, with PC additionally listed for Halo: Spartan Assault.
That separate Essential section should not be merged with the day-one list above. Check the device entry as well as the game name. An Essential addition labelled Console and Cloud is not a promise of a native PC installation.
The official Game Pass account linked the November announcement on November 3:
Football Manager 27's PC listing began November 3, while Football Manager 2027 Console follows November 10. Those are separate entries with distinct device descriptions, even though the names are closely related.
Check departures before choosing the next long game
GoldenEye 007, Moonlighter and 1000xResist are among the games leaving November 15. The official list also names titles including Great God Grove and Firefighting Simulator: The Squad. That last title is different from the arriving Firefighting Simulator: Ignite, so compare the full name if you have a session in progress.
Xbox gives a leaving date, without an exact universal cutoff hour in this announcement. Avoid planning a final session around an assumed midnight deadline. Check the title's current library entry and leave yourself time if finishing before removal matters to you.
Our October catalogue report remains a separate historical wave. For this November selection, keep the current official plan and platform list beside your queue. Pick a game, match it to your plan and device, then check its current library entry before setting aside time to play.
